Cascade Mind & Body Clinic – Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the terms and conditions that govern the appropriate use of the services, technologies, and systems ("Services") provided by Cascade Mind & Body Clinic. Our goal is to safeguard our practice, our patients, and the broader community from unethical, illegal, or abusive activity.
By using our Services, clients and users agree to abide by this policy. Violations may result in the suspension or termination of access, and in some cases, may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.

1. Fair Use

We provide Services under the assumption that they will be used in good faith and within standard practice parameters. Excessive or abusive use may result in added charges, limited access, or service discontinuation.
Cascade Mind & Body Clinic is committed to promoting respectful, ethical, and inclusive use of its Services. Any action that exploits, discriminates against, or harms individuals, communities, or systems is strictly prohibited.

2. Client Responsibility
​
Clients are responsible for their own use of our Services and for the behavior of any individual or party using our systems with or without permission. This includes maintaining appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized access.
Clients are expected to ensure their employees, representatives, or end-users comply with this policy. Complaints or incidents involving misuse will be directed to the account holder on record. Cascade Mind & Body Clinic reserves the right to take any necessary action in response to policy violations, including terminating services without notice.
3. Prohibited Activities

A. Copyright Infringement & Unauthorized Material

Clients may not use our Services to upload, share, or distribute materials that violate any law or third-party rights, including:

Copyrighted works used without permission;

Defamatory, obscene, or threatening content;

Content that violates privacy laws or export regulations.
Clients are solely responsible for ensuring all materials they transmit or host are legally authorized.

B. SPAM & Unsolicited Communications
​
Our Services may not be used for sending unsolicited bulk messages or commercial messages ("SPAM"), including:

Email, SMS, or voice spam;

Unauthorized list-building or scraping;

Use of purchased email or phone databases.
All communications must follow a confirmed opt-in model with verifiable consent. Messages must not mislead or deceive recipients, and may not reference websites or platforms hosted by Cascade Mind & Body Clinic in a misleading or abusive manner.

C. Malicious or Unethical Behavior

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Disseminating malware, spyware, or viruses;

Attempting unauthorized access to systems or data (“hacking”);

Network attacks (e.g., DDoS, sniffing, spoofing);

Use of our Services for harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination;

Impersonating Cascade Mind & Body Clinic or fraudulently representing an affiliation with us;

Using our Services to engage in or support illegal activities, including gambling, arms trafficking, terrorism, or the production or distribution of controlled substances.

4. Protection of Intellectual Property & Brand Integrity

Clients must not use the Cascade Mind & Body Clinic name, logo, branding, or associated property in a deceptive, misleading, or unauthorized manner. Misrepresenting an affiliation with the clinic or using our identity to gain trust or services fraudulently is prohibited and may be subject to legal action.

5. Policy Modifications
​
This AUP is not exhaustive. Cascade Mind & Body Clinic reserves the right to modify, update, or expand this policy at any time. The most current version will be published on our website and becomes effective either:

Upon the client’s continued use of our Services after the update is published; or

30 days from the publication date, whichever occurs first.
